Weekend Night Trash Collector

The apartment community you will be servicing is four 4-story buildings, and we have a cart on site that you push through the buildings and put the trash in, then push the cart to the compactor to empty as it fills.Valet Trash Porter

We are looking for someone that is able to work Friday & Saturday night. The shift starts at 7pm and takes about 2.5 hours on Friday and about an hour and fifteen minutes on Saturday. Pay is $90 on Friday and $50 on Saturday. A truck would make the job quicker but is not required and we have large carts that can be used instead.

This is a W2 position and pay is Bi-weekly.

Qualifications

• Must be able to carry 20-30lbs of trash up and down stairs
• Willing to break a sweat, walking up and down stairs at most properties
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• A smartphone with a data plan to access the two apps we use
• An open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer is preferred
• A valid driver's license is required
• Current auto insurance in your name for your vehicle or listed as a driver on the policy is required

Job Description

• Collect trash bags/recycling door-to-door within a local apartment community, and transfer to the trash compactor onsite.
• Completely dump all containers and leave the customer’s location clean and free of debris.
• Attend and participate in scheduled training and meetings as required by management.
• Other duties as assigned.
