Appliance Delivery and Installation Driver/Helper

We are looking for an Appliance Delivery Helper/Installer. Helpers will work with Box Truck Operator's to deliver appliances with basic hook up, in and around the local area. Appliances being installed can range from refrigerators, dishwashers, washers and dryers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate delivery including install of appliances
• Select and use basic tools to assemble, adjust and install various appliances
• Must be able to follow complex installation instructions as per manufacturer specifications to complete installation of Refrigerators, Dishwashers, Laundry washer/dryer, etc
• Loading and unloading up to 75 - 400 lbs. with the assistance of an appliance dolly and body straps

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License with good driving record
• Professional work experience as an Appliance Installer or a willingness to learn the trade
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must be able to pass a Background check and Drug test screening

Summary

As an Appliance Installer, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge to install and set up various appliances for customers. Your premium skills in appliance repair and understanding schematics will be essential in ensuring accurate and efficient installations. You and your partnered Driver will be responsible for transporting appliances to customers' locations, promptly, safely and without damage to the customers inventory or property. Additionally, your background in appliance, field service, and customer service will enable you to provide excellent support to clients. A valid driver's license is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge
• Appliance installation and schematics expertise
• Experience in fast-paced deliveries
• Proficiency in appliances and field service
• Service technician background (If applicable)
• Strong customer service skills (Must Have)
• Ability to operate a box truck (Must provide DOT Med Card)
• Furniture assembly and or Appliance installation capabilities
• Electrical experience
• Valid driver's license

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay Rate:

Driver: $200.00 a day

Helper: $165.00 a day

Schedule: Monday-Friday Weekend Optional
