Delivery Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Installation Technician to professionally and safely install major products and accessories. This role ensures a high level of customer service, minimizes damage, and meets customer expectations during and after installations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Delivery, Installation, and Removal:
  • Execute safe and efficient deliveries and installations of hot tubs, swim spas, saunas, panel pools, game tables (pool tables, shuffleboards, foosball, air hockey, skee-ball, arcades), and patio furniture.
  • Perform hot tub cover installations and removals.
  • Conduct hot tub removals, ensuring proper disposal or transport.
  • Utilize cranes for lifting and positioning heavy items with precision.
  • Safely operate trailers for the transportation of products and equipment.
• Product Handling and Preparation:
  • Accurately pick water care products from pick tickets.
  • Load, secure, and unload products and equipment, ensuring safe handling.
  • Assemble and disassemble products as necessary for delivery, installation, or display.
• Construction and Technical Skills:
  • Perform minor plumbing and electrical work for installations, adhering to safety standards and local codes.
  • Execute basic woodworking tasks for installations, repairs, or custom modifications.
  • Participate in the construction and assembly of panel pools.
  • Read and interpret installation instructions and technical manuals.
• Expo Show Operations:
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of displays at trade shows and expo events, creating visually appealing and functional layouts.
  • Arrange products and displays for optimal presentation and customer engagement.
  • Ensure the operational readiness of all displayed products.
• Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Maintain and clean company vehicles, trailers, and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
• Customer Service and Communication:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors, both verbally and in writing.
  • Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to customers on product operation and maintenance.
  • Utilize phones, apps, and computers for communication, documentation, and task management.
• Process and Organization:
  • Maintain an organized work environment, both in the warehouse and on job sites.
  • Follow established processes and procedures, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of processes, providing valuable feedback and suggestions.
  • Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Problem Solving and Adaptability:
  • Problem solve complex problems that arise on job sites.
  • Adapt to changing situations and unexpected challenges, finding creative solutions.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
• Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:
  • Lift and move heavy objects (50+ lbs repeatedly), bending, twisting, and kneeling.
  • Work in various weather conditions, including inclement weather, and adapt to changing temperatures.
  • Work in loud, fast-paced, and potentially wet environments.
  • Work potential overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
