Delivery Manager

The Delivery Manager oversees daily operations of the Delivery Department, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with company goals and values. This position involves managing delivery drivers and helpers, optimizing routes and monitoring performance and compliance with safety and transportation regulations. The Delivery Manager works closely with warehouse teams, sales, merchandising, management, vendors, customers, and others to offer a high level of customer service while resolving operational challenges.

· Oversee and direct the delivery team which includes but is not limited to interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, terminations, managing and approving timecards and managing staffing levels and paid time off

· Develop and implement work instructions, policies, and procedures

· Coordinate with company objectives to enhance delivery operations

· Route trucks and monitor deliveries

· Track and report damages, tool issues, and accidents

· Oversee truck inspections and maintenance

· Ensure proper tagging and handling of returns

· Process and analyze delivery reports

· Monitor compliance with signature capture, phone, camera, and email use

· Prepare reports and coordinate with other departments

· Communicate with the Director of Distribution Center (DC)

· Participate in scheduled, safety, productivity, and policy meetings
