Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing the safe and timely transportation of goods to and from the company. Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, including adding fuel and keeping records of mileage and fuel costs. In addition to driving the company truck, adhere to all traffic and safety regulations. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans, pallet jack, and other equipment to load, unload, and transport goods. The Delivery Driver must also adhere to all safety protocols and maintain accurate records. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate the company truck to deliver and pick up goods, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups to designated locations.
- Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring that all items are handled with care.
- Utilize pallet jacks and forklifts as needed for loading and unloading tasks.
- Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining necessary signatures.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is mandatory.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical Examiner's Certificate for truck driving.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or a related environment.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is an advantage.
- Experience operating box trucks, vans, or other commercial vehicles.
- Skills in loading/unloading goods using pallet jacks or forklifts are highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.

- Basic computer skills and ability to use software for shipping orders, including packing lists, barcodes, and labels.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and consistently.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to seasonal temperature extremes, such as heat, cold, and humidity.
- Occasional exposure to chemicals, fumes, and toxic or caustic substances (protective equipment provided).
- Exposure to plastic fumes from shrink-wrap and fuel fumes from forklifts.
- Moderate noise levels (hearing protection available).
